First Quarter Focus: Training Delivery
This year the Training 101 SIG topics are organized around ATD’s “Core 4”: 4 foundational elements of learning and talent development: training delivery, instructional design, measurement & evaluation, and learning technologies. For 3 months, we’ll focus on one of these elements in our monthly SIG meetings. The meeting formats will vary based on the topic with the 3rd month featuring a guest speaker.
We’re starting with the Training Delivery element! Join us on February 1st as we discuss two ever-trendy topics for talent development professionals: facilitation techniques and establishing your credibility and a positive learning environment. Share your favorite (or most intimidating) facilitation techniques and jump into what is sure to be a lively discussion about how we can establish our credibility with an audience and how to create a positive environment for learners.
