Life is filled with challenges, both personally and professionally. It’s often been said that in today’s world, the only constant is change. When facing a new challenge our default reaction is not always what gets the desired results. We often focus on what this challenge “is doing to me” and the negative aspects of the situation. This new program helps each of us develop personal effectiveness with a focus on working with change and adversity in positive and productive ways.

This new program is brought to you by TRP Enterprises. TRP has facilitated popular programs on personal effectiveness and emotional intelligence in companies like UNC Health Care, American Express and more for over twenty years. The program reveals solutions to common pitfalls we can step into when working with others and helps us collaborate, instead of clash.  It teaches skills that can help us remain creative under pressure, to fi­nd constructive ways to express ideas and build collaborative relationships. The practical focus of this program empowers us to apply our discoveries not just in the world of work, but in all aspects of life.

Learning objectives for this event: 

1. Create practical, personal strategies to help you manage any change or personal adversity you are facing in your career. Learn to apply those strategies for increased satisfaction and ability to manage stress.

2. See change and adversity as powerful learning opportunities. Apply the ability to see the learning in a variety of situations, at work and at home.

3. Increase your ability to collaborate with others. Learn to see the value in diverse perspectives that will help you facilitate greater openness to change in yourself and in others. Bring this skill back to work to enhance communications and interactions with others.

Daniel Lobb, CPLP
Co-President, TRP Enterprises, Inc.

A veteran of the travel industry, Daniel spent ten years in operations and management while conducting tours across the US and abroad. He now leads TRP Enterprises, Inc., delivering powerful training programs for family businesses, large corporations, startups, non-profits and city governments. His ability to connect with a wide variety of people and facilitate insight and discovery are evident in the way TRP consults with organizations and trains trainers. He has also served the learning community as a National Advisor for Chapters for the Association for Talent Development (ATD), and has served as president of the Piedmont ATD Chapter. As a husband and parent, he loves sharing the journey with his wife Irene and their three children.
