The ATD Research Triangle Area (RTA) Chapter is affiliated with the National ATD organization, a leading professional organization focused on the promotion and advancement of workplace learning and performance. We have over 220 members with a variety of backgrounds, including corporate trainers, external consultants, people considering entering the field, students of the training and development profession, human resource professionals, career development professionals, training managers, and many other positions. The strength of our Chapter is in our membership. We engage communities throughout Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and the surrounding areas. Code of EthicsATD RTA Chapter programs and workshops are a non-commercial forum. Presenters refrain from the use of brand names and specific products endorsements whenever practical. Under no circumstances is the society podium used as a place for direct promotion of a presenter’s product, service or monetary self-interest. ATD’s purpose is the development of human potential. We value the rightful dignity and social equity of any individual or group. Instances involving non-compliance with these principles should be referred in writing directly to the Chapter President for review and appropriate action.
