Get Involved

The strength of our chapter is our membership and our committed and caring volunteers who donate their time and expertise to support the Chapter and advance the Workplace Learning Profession. We have numerous opportunities for members to get involved in the Chapter such as:

  • Serving on one of our Committees
  • Leading a Special Interest Group
  • Sharing useful training & development tips
  • Sponsoring an event
  • Writing an article for the newsletter
  • Hosting a Munch & Mingle networking event
  • And so much more

ATD-RTA Ambassadors Needed!

Do you enjoy meeting new people and helping others?  As an ATD-RTP Chapter Ambassador you will welcome new members and facilitate introductions to other members.  In this role, you will contact new members within the first month of their membership to welcome them to the Chapter.

You may also:

  • Invite a new member to meet you at a Chapter event
  • Introduce a new member to another Chapter member
  • Greet a new member at a Chapter event
  • Suggest Chapter events that you think may be of interest to the new member
  • Invite a new member to connect with you on LinkedIn
  • Set up a face-to-face or phone meeting to share professional interests or discuss National or Chapter benefits or programs


As an Ambassador, you will build and demonstrate professional skills that can be applied in the real world including:

    • Networking and interpersonal skills
    • Planning Skills
    • Industry Knowledge

Do you want to get more for your ATD-RTA Chapter membership?

Here's your chance to define what "more" is! Help the Membership Team brainstorm ways to add value to ATD-RTA Chapter membership. We want renewing your membership to be a no-brainer. What would it take to make it so? We invite you to join us to share your ideas, your energy, and your talents by getting involved with the Membership Committee (no minimum time commitment required!)

Specifically, we need volunteers to help call new members to welcome them to the Chapter. let us know if you are interested.

Program Team Volunteers

Calling all volunteers! Programs is the combined activity of monthly meetings, events and workshops. The programs team is seeking volunteer members to commit their time, creativity, energy and manpower in accomplishing our objectives. Your involvement can be for one or several programs. With just a few short hours per month you can help us accomplish project goals.
