The Evolution of L&D

Meeting Objective: To recognize the evolving role of the Learning and Development professional.

The value of L&D is to be a trusted adviser to the organization, someone who knows the business, can quickly analyze a situation and to propose solutions to a specific gap; someone who understands the people, and can adapt solutions quickly to the ever-changing nature of their industry. Today’s L&D professional must become more than a delivery system for training, they must think and act strategically in order to have an impact on their organization.
