Developing e-learning can be challenging, especially when the content is highly technical. The end product can be quite complex, with engaging animations, green screen videos, interactive html questions, software practices, closed captioning, and more. How is it made?
Join Linda Mueller, Senior Technical Learning and Development Specialist at SAS, as she draws back the curtain to demonstrate the processes and tools that she and her team use to design and develop e-learning for analytics software customers. Even if the content that you work with isn't highly technical, you're bound to pick up some tips that you can add to your own bag of e-learning tricks.
When you arrive at SAS… There are guard gates at the entrances to SAS off of Harrison Avenue as well as Trenton Road. Stop at a guard gate. If there is no security guard at the gate, press the intercom button. Let Security know you are attending the "Research Triangle Area e-Learning Special Interest Group meeting" in Building F.
Free to all ATD-RTA members, however we ask that you do RSVP.
Contact Michelle Bartlett, mebartle@ncsu.edu, for questions or additional information.
If you were previously registered for the September meeting and need to cancel, please contact Paige Daniel, admin@tdrta.org.
