Description
Come join us to learn more about Culture Change! We will work on creating an environment where we learn from each other to create increasingly effective culture change processes.
Don’t miss this month’s ATD culture-change SIG meeting, Wednesday evening 4/20 from 5:30 to 7 PM. We will build upon our developments in the previous two SIG meetings to lay the theoretical foundation for systematically creating business culture changes including to business models, strategies, operating processes, and even missions.
We will focus on the general concept of the social construction of reality initiated in a seminal 1966 book by Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann. Consistent with our SIG’s mission, we will narrow the scope to the social construction of certainties. After we have some vibrant interactions about how most of our certainties are constructed, we will then segue to how that relates to the nature of business cultures and why human nature makes organization culture changes so difficult. This will open the way for us to explore how to methodically overcome these inherent barriers.
If you haven’t already done so, please register to attend this lively culture change SIG.
We look forward to interacting with you as we take our next step in creating systematic culture changes!
