Presenter: Mark Oehlert
About Mark:
I’ve spent my career at the intersection of innovation, culture, and learning—turning insights into action and keeping the customer at the center of everything I do. Most recently, I worked at a medical device startup developing the next generation of insulin pumps. I led the design and development of digital learning experiences for people with diabetes, working to make content meaningful and accessible across a wide range of ages, economic backgrounds, and tech comfort levels.
Before that, I worked in places as different as the Pentagon—where I helped shape the Department of Defense-wide training strategy—and Amazon, where I led enterprise learning programs and managed innovation initiatives across the company. I’m a trained anthropologist and historian who’s spent over 20 years in tech and learning. I’m a relentless researcher, a big believer
