From Courses to Conversations: The Next Evolution of Online Learning with AI

Description:

So far, the #1 use case for AI in workforce training and education has been generating content for traditional learning modalities, such as e-learning scripts and presentation decks. However, AI offers an even more transformative capability: engaging in personalized, 1:1 conversations on demand, at scale.

In this session we will examine real-life applications for how AI agents can serve as facilitators and coaches, specifically:

  • Ways to leverage AI agents for personalized coaching, "ILT" style discussion-based courses, role play simulations, free response assessments, and other learning modalities that previously required human facilitators.
  • Integrating AI agents into "blended" learning paths alongside e-learning, human-facilitated coaching / training sessions, etc.
  • Important design considerations when creating AI agents for workforce training and support (including multilingual / international audiences).
  • Real-world case studies from financial services, retail, healthcare, and more.

Presenter: Emil Heidkamp

Emil Heidkamp, founder of Sonata Intelligence, designs mission critical training programs for the International Federation of Red Cross Red Crescent Societies, Morgan Stanley, U.S. Navy, and other organizations. Recently, Sonata launched Parrotbox.ai, a platform to deploy adaptive virtual coaches, interactive simulations, and other AI-powered learning tools for corporations, universities, and humanitarian clients. Regardless of the technologies involved, Emil and his team remain focused on delivering human-centered learning experiences with real ROI, whether it's measured in dollars earned or lives saved.
