Learning Trends & Innovations SIG (Virtual): How to Thrive in the Evolving World of Learning + Development

AI, workforce transformation, and the changing nature of work are here to stay, and that means the learning and development profession must evolve too. But meeting this moment won’t come from incremental improvement; it requires a shift in how we think, how we operate, and how we ultimately deliver impact. In this session, we’ll explore the critical shifts talent development professionals can make to thrive in a constantly changing workplace, the barriers we must overcome, and the actions we can take to elevate our impact and co-create what comes next.

By the end of the session, you will be able to:

  •  Identify the most important forces reshaping learning and development today, including AI, workforce transformation, and the changing nature of work.
  • Explain the critical shifts learning and development professionals must make to increase relevance and impact and recognize common barriers that can slow that evolution.
  • Commit to one specific action they will take to evolve their approach and help elevate talent development’s impact in their organization.
