Workforce Capability Intelligence: Measuring Learning's Impact on Performance - Learning Trends & Innovations SIG (Virtual)

Organizations invest heavily in learning, but traditional learning metrics often provide little visibility into whether workforce capability actually changed. In this session, we'll explore how leading organizations are designing learning around measurable skills and following those skills from organizational need, through learning experiences, to on-the-job application and business outcomes. You'll learn how technology and data can create Workforce Capability Intelligence, giving L&D and business leaders greater visibility into capability growth, remaining gaps, and opportunities to improve performance.

By the end of the session, you will be able to:

  • Explain the concept of Workforce Capability Intelligence and how it differs from traditional learning metrics.
  • Describe how skills data can be connected from organizational needs through learning, job application, and business outcomes.
  • Identify practical ways technology and capability data can help uncover skill gaps and guide workforce development decisions.
