Description

Bob Stapleton, the leader of the local OD society (TODN) Leadership SIG, has agreed to conduct our June Culture-Change SIG meeting on Tuesday, June 21 5:30-7 PM. Bob will relate his insights to our culture-change activities.

In order to maximize the value of his session, we will spend our May session, Thursday May 12th, digging deeper into the many insights others have created into the fact that we indeed operate in two distinct modes: a thinking mode and an automatic mode.

In order to make this fun and challenging, we will revisit a list we examine briefly in a previous session. Only this time, everyone will engage in filling in missing items given alternatively one from the thinking mode and one from the automatic mode. We will then see that many of Bob’s insights about future leadership requirements relate to understanding and managing automatic human activities.
